What is Orbit Project Space?

Orbit Project is designed to serve as a foundation for collaborative project work. We have tried to make it as simple as possible, yet with some very powerful features that will allow you to work smarter and faster alone or together with others.

Orbit Project provides a "project space" for each project. A project space is fitted with a dashboard including a description, a list of participants, client name, and project period. Optionally financial figures regarding the project can be imported from your ERP-system ie. hours spent, budget, amount invoiced etc.

On top of this, each project comes with a comments stream and a file and document space that integrates directly with Orbit File Synchronizer, thereby making it easy to store and share files both internally and externally. 

Orbit Project includes a project overview where you can easily get an overlook of the projects you are currently working on. Additionally all projects are fitted with a "follow" feature, meaning that you can choose to get updates directly on your activity stream when things change on a specific project. 

Orbit Project will often be integrated with the company ERP system, as this allows for the automatic generation of new Orbit projects based on new projects created in the ERP. From here base info such as client, time period, project team, budget and more can be added directly to the Orbit project, thereby saving time and making sure that people can start working on the project right away.

Extension modules


Notifications allows the system to communicate with users through pop-ups and emails, letting them know about news or important changes.

External invite

Invite external partners or your clients to work with you on a project. You can manage exactly what elements and documents they should have access to.

Orbit File Synchronizer

Orbit File Synchronizer is a Dropbox-like desktop client that allows you to work with files directly on your computer, while changes are automatically synchronized.


Orbit Intranet can be integrated with other systems such as ERP, project management or websites, thereby reducing time spent typing in info.

Advanced search

Through the Orbit search engine it is possible to make very advanced combined searches through both content and attached files.

Outlook plugin

Orbit integrates seamlessly with Outlook thereby making it easy to get information from Outlook to Orbit - and back. Emails, contacts, files and more.

Security and hosting

A number of security measures and backup procedures are in place to make sure that your data is safe and protected.

Access control

Access control lets you control which users should have access to certain information and features. You can have as many access levels as you like.
